英文摘要 | This work aims to find a new terpolymers with higher heat distortion temperature, but similar in character as conventional ABS. a modified styrene based polymer-MaBS (Maleic anhydride-Butadiene-Styrene) meets the heat resistance requirements, and has been synthesized by solution polymerization. Its chemical, physical and mechanical properties have been characterized, e.g. tensile strength: 4,000 psi; impact strength: 0.6ft-lb/inm, heat distortion temperature: 140±5℃; softing point 165±5℃; and the flow beginning temperature 220℃. |
