英文摘要 | To study the mass diffusion effects on the boiling heat transfer of binary mixtures from a macroscopic point of view, temperature profile of the liquid closed to the heating surface is measured for water-ethylene glycol mixtures of various concentrations. Thickness of the extrapolated thermal boundary layer is then determined. Curves of the thermal boundary layer thickness versus heat transfer coefficient are found to have a non-linear shifting trend due to the mass diffusion effects on the bubble's growth rate. |
