| 中文摘要 | 玉米、高粱二作物,在開花期除去部份或全部果穗,以控制同化作用積儲,進行調查除去積儲後,對單株子實產量及其化學成分之影響,並探討對葉片之淨同化作用率的改變。 玉米除去部份果穗對子實產量之影響,則因除去果穗位置不同而異。除去第一果穗,可使第二果穗粒數倍增,而使該果穗子實收量倍增;但除去第二果穗時,對第一果穗子實產量卻無影響。高梁除去1/2果穗,可增加剩餘子實之百粒重而增加子實產量,此種增加顯然由於子實間競爭減少所致。但實際上粒重的增加尚不足以彌補粒數的減少,故實際產量仍為減少。除外,部分除去果實,都能改變二種作物子實內化學成分,特別是澱粉含量,但是澱粉含量之增加或減少卻無法配合說明子實重量之變化。 去除果穗後,葉片淨同化作用顯著減少。減少原因可能是同化產物累積於葉稈內。此亦暗示葉片光合作用亦受子實需求大小而決定。除淨同化作用率減少外,除去果穗後常發生取代性光合作用積儲之出現,此種現象高梁較玉米更為明顯。 |
| 英文摘要 | Investigations were carried out to study the effect of ear removal of corn and sorghum on the yield of kernel or grian, its chemical constituents and the changes of NAR. Treatments consist of removal of complete of partial ear at the silking or anthesis stage. The most significant effect of the removal of partial ear (sink) of sorghum on the grain yield is the increase of seed weight. Apparently this increase was due to the decrease of competition between grain. Besides, the starch content in sorghum grain was significantly increased. In case of corn the weight of the 2nd ear doubled when the 1st ear was removed, but the 100 seeds weight and the starch content reversely decreased. The relationship between starch content and seed weight has not been conclusively proven. The net assimilation rate significantly reduced after the removal of the sink ear. The reason may be due to the accumulation of the assimilated product into leaves and stem. This suggests that the leaf photosynthesis rate may also depend on the magnitude of seed requirement. The ear removal decreased the NAR and simultaneously resulted in the regrowth of new altermative sink. This phenomenon was more apparent in the case of sorghum. |
