| 中文摘要 | 多年來稻谷烘乾機重點計劃推廣之結果,已使本省乾燥機之臺數增至兩萬餘臺,其中箱式乾燥機之臺數最多,約佔67%,偏及本省中北部地區。但箱式乾燥機最大之缺點是水分含量上下層分配不均,火力若稍加大,即容易造成碎米。技術上,有待進一步改善之必要。 本計劃乃針對上項缺失,對舊式箱型乾燥機之單向往上送風方式加以收良,採用上、下往復通風乾燥之方式,每隔二至四小時風向改變一次,使上下谷層水分含量之差異減至最低程度,胴裂率亦相對降低。依據試驗結果,最終含水率之標準差在±0.4內。胴裂增加率亦未超過10%,效果甚為滿意,頗值得進一步推廣。 此外為簡化乾燥設備,並利用常溫通風或太陽能進行乾燥,本計劃亦設計一套弧型吸排兩用乾燥機,陰天採用常溫通風,晴天則利用太陽能乾燥。此種乾燥裝置由九個單元拼成,不需鏈接,拆裝十分簡便。頗適合農家之用。 |
| 英文摘要 | After several years' extension projects executed by the government, the rice driers have totaled twenty thousand sets in use in Taiwan. Among of these, most, or 67% of them, are of the stationary bed or box type, which scattered around the central & northern part of Taiwan. However, the principal defect of this type of driers was that the grain moisture gradients in layers were always great after drying and large crack ratio and broken kernels result as more heat added. Therefore, it does need a little technical improvements to make it work successfully. Purpose of this project is then to remedy this defect and to reform the traditional one, by using an air direction changing box. Instead of drying the paddy in only one upward direction, the air direction changing box will alternate the aeration directions easily both upward and downward, in every two or three hours. As long as this apparatus is plugged in, the moisture gradients of the paddy across the whole depth of the drying bed will usually diminish significantly. Also the crack ratio of the dried kernels is thus improved. According to the recent tests at Tainan, we found, the deviation of the grain moisture across the drying bed was about ±0.4% w. b. and increase of the crack ratio was never higher than the upper limit of 10%. We then conclude that, the drying method we use is quite successful, and worthwhile to recommend the farmers to buy one. Besides, we have also designed another simple drying machinery specified for the local farmers. This equipment consists of nine units, made of wire nets and angles bent in arch-like. The whole equipment is equipped with a sirocco fan; to suck in or press out air through the grain mass. A piece of black cloth covered on the grain surface, serves as a simple solar absorber and transmits the absorbed solar heat to the incoming air. Only by aeration, it can drop 6% w. b. in grain moisture within three days. Although it needs more experiments, however, it also has already been proved to be a simple, efficient and convenient drying apparatus for use in Taiwan. |
