中文摘要 | 本試驗將臺南11號、南選10號及馬齒種(在來種)等三種玉米品種於九葉時期青刈,留樁高度15 cm,並分施氮肥0及100 kg/ha兩處理,藉以探討玉米早期青刈後對其農藝性狀及子實產量之影響,茲將結果摘錄於後: 1. 施用氮肥對青刈鮮重會顯著的增加,而對其他性狀則無顯著的效應。青刈鮮重也因品種不同有所差異,以馬齒種的青刈量達最高,為3.84噸/公頃。 2. 三品種青刈後,於不同生長期,株高生長的變化趨於一致,青刈後株高會顯著地降低。 3. 青刈後,吐穗期延遲4~7天,以馬齒種延長時間最久。 4. 除了莖重外,根、葉、穗軸、苞葉、子實及全株總乾物量,均因青刈處理顯著的降低,葉數及葉面積也顯著地減少,葉面積平均約減少42%,各品種間葉數及葉面積也顯著地不同。 5. 臺南11號、南選10號及馬齒種青刈後,其子實產量分別減少42、28及17%。 6. LAR因青刈處理而顯著地降低,?單位葉面積之乾物累積量顯著地增加。 7. 脫粒率、HI及SLW不因青刈處理而有顯著的影響,但HI因品種不同有顯著差異。 8. 青刈後,其單位葉面積之子實生產效率地增加。 綜上之檢討,如繼續研究增加播種量及施肥量對於種實收量及青葉刈取量之關係,對於集約利用耕地之臺灣,玉米可能成為兼收子粒與青料之雙重用途作物。 |
英文摘要 | In order to study the effects of the defoliation at early growth stage on the agronomic characters and the grain yield of corn. Complete defoliation was done on three corn varieties, i.e. Tainan No. 11, Nan-hsuan No. 10, and Dent variety (local variety), at the 9th complete leaf stage with 15 cm high stub left. There were two nitrogen fertilizer level treatments, 0 and 100 kg/ha. The results were as follows: 1. The nitrogen fertilizer increasesd significantly the fresh weight of plants defoliated, but no significant effect was observed on the other characters. The difference of fresh weight was significant among the three varieties. Dent variety got the highest yield, 3.84 ton/ha. 2. After defoliating, the change in plant height of three varieties had the same trend at different growth stages. The plant height was decreased significantly due to defoliation. 3. The tasseling date was lagged 4 to 7 days by defoliation. Dent variety was affected the most. 4. The dry weights of root, leaf, cob, husk, grain yield, and total dry matter except the stem were lowered significantly by defoliation, so were the number of leaves and leaf area. The leaf area was decreased about 42%. The number of leaves and the leaf area were different among the three varieties. 5. The grain yield of Tainan No. 11, Nan-hsuan No. 10 and Dent variety decreased 42, 28, and 17%, respectively by defoliating. 6. LAR was decreased significantly by defoliation. Consequeutly, the dry matter accumulated per unit of leaf area was increased significantly. 7. No significant change was observed on shelling percentage, HI, and SLW after defoliation, but HI was different among varieties. 8. The production efficiency of grain per unit leaf area was increased significantly after defoliation. It is felt that there still is possibility with higher seeding rates and fertilizer levels, earlier defoliage of corn plants may produrce extra green forage without too much sacrifice grain production. Further experiments on this line is suggested. |
