英文摘要 | The Euler angle θ of the axis of the top to the vertical fixed axis is equal to a fixed angle θ₀, only if the steady precession of the top takes place, at which the torque becomes zero, and the effective potential energy relative to the angle θ of inclination is in minimum value as a steady equilibrium point. But this point is influenced by the change of the inertia, the shape, the spinning, and the precession of the top. And this point is moved in the range 0<θ₀<π for various conditions Therefore, the minimun effective potential energy may be raises or lowered. And the top oscillates about that point in different states. According to the different finite angle θ₀, we know that the larger ∣△θ∣(︱△θ︱=|θ-θ₀|), the larger the effective potential energy, and the larget the torque, the stronger the interaction of the system with its surroundings. |
