| 英文摘要 | Wang Shizhen's theory of "shenyun" upholds Wang Wei and Meng Haoran as the highest models, seemingly forming a clear distinction from the poetry of Li Shangyin (Yishan). Consequently, in the history of the reception of Li Shangyin's poetry, Wang Shizhen has often been overlooked. However, when examined through the poetic categories of "xu" (the intangible) and "shi" (the tangible), both Li Shangyin's misty poetry and Wang Shizhen's shenyun poetry present reality through absence and transform the tangible into the intangible, avoiding direct engagement with concrete events. Rich in meaning beyond words, a mere literal interpretation often reveals no specific person, event, or trace. Based on this shared aesthetic ideal, Wang Shizhen took Li Shangyin's poetry as a model for his own poetry and ci lyric compositions, a practice particularly evident in his early and late works. During his tenure as an official in Yangzhou, Wang gathered like-minded peers and, capitalizing on the compilation of Yisheng Chuji, initiated critical discussions on Li Shangyin's poetry amidst a fervent trend of composing ci poetry on romantic themes. As a key reader, Wang Shizhen frequently referenced Li Shangyin in his writings, including poetry, ci, and critical works such as "remarks on poetry" (shihua) and "remarks on ci" (cihua). Owing to Wang's status as a leading figure in the literary world, these texts exerted a broad and profound influence. |
