| 英文摘要 | The exhibition “The Mobile White Cube: Gurgling Island—Homeland, Otherness, Transformation” served as a case study to understand audience evaluations of curatorial themes, inclusive design experiences, and overall satisfaction. Visitors to this mobile exhibition on a university campus during the period from October 25 to November 3, 2024 were asked to complete a survey questionnaire, yielding 82 valid responses. A five-point Likert scale was employed for quantitative analysis. The results indicated that male participants preferred the “Homeland” theme as it emphasized cultural history, while female participants preferred the “Inclusive Design,” valuing its human-centered and socially conscious applications. Older visitors also favored “Homeland.” Middle-aged participants showed greater interest in “Inclusive Design” and “Transformation,” while younger participants displayed diverse preferences: those aged 15-19 leaned toward “Otherness,” while those aged 20–29 prioritized “Inclusive Design.” Regarding experiential design, tactile features were most effective in enhancing artistic understanding, as reflected in the high score for Taichung Park (M = 4.00). On satisfaction assessments, “Social Inclusion and Cultural Integration” received the highest score (M = 4.49), highlighting the exhibition’s dual emphases on cultural value and educational outreach. Regression analysis further revealed that “Inclusive Design Experience” had a significant and positive effect on overall satisfaction (β = 0.611, p < .001). Based on these findings, it is suggested that for future exhibitions differentiated experiences be tailored to audience characteristics, with expansion of multisensory interactions and “cultural inclusion” and “inclusive design” serving as curatorial cores. Such strategies may foster intergenerational dialogue, extend the educational impact on campuses, and enhance institutional brand value. |
