| 英文摘要 | In 2024, Taipei Tzu Chi Hospital became the first hospital in New Taipei City to receive the Disease Specific Care - Infant Hip Dysplasia (DSC-IHD) certification. The Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH) team, comprising pediatrics, orthopedics, obstetrics, nursing, and rehabilitation specialists, was established in 2023 with the mission of ensuring early detection and treatment during the golden treatment period. Through standardized screening protocols, case management, shared decision-making (SDM), and innovative educational tools such as virtual reality (VR)modules and digital tracking, the team overcame initial challenges including low screening rates, inconsistent clinical skills, and limited caregiver awareness. Following certification, improvements were observed in ultrasound screening rates, caregiver education coverage, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Additional initiatives, such as mascot-based education, multimedia teaching materials, and community outreach integration, further expanded the program's impact. The certification process not only enhanced clinical outcomes but also strengthened the culture of continuous quality improvement and professional growth within the team. This experience provides a model of integrated pediatric orthopedic care and advances the quality of child health services in Taiwan. |
