| 英文摘要 | Minimalist fashion is not merely about "less," but poses a philosophical inquiry into "being." As an extension of the body and a mediating interface with the world, clothing refracts existence through structural reduction. By subtracting material excess, it leaves behind a depth that resists articulation, offering both a hint of possible modes of being and an intuitive script of the relation between form and the formless. Departing from studies that tend to remain at the level of style, semiotics, or market strategy, this research adopts a metaphysical perspective to explore how minimalist clothing, through structural purification and the silence of language, reveals the potential of fashion as a medium of existence. Beyond tracing the genealogy of minimalism in art, architecture, and dress, it draws upon the philosophical frameworks of Martin Heidegger's call of the thing, Maurice Merleau-Ponty's body-world relation, Jean Paul Sartre's freedom and responsibility, and Gilles Deleuze's becoming and difference, thereby constructing an interdisciplinary lens of analysis. Methodologically, the study employs philosophical hermeneutics and phenomenological reduction, while grounding its analysis in eight contemporary minimalist brands-The Row, Lemaire, Jil Sander, Issey Miyake, Phoebe Philo, Maison Margiela, Rick Owens, and COS. Through their practices of cut, structure, color, and bodily perception, this research illuminates how minimalist fashion, in the act of reduction, generates presence and becomes a mechanism through which existence itself is disclosed. |
