| 英文摘要 | Dai Zhen advocated for the foundation of morality in ‘emotion’ and reasserting ‘emotion’ and ‘desire’ as moral drivers. Dai affirmed human beings possess ‘emotional vitality’ rooted in ‘blood, qi, and conscious knowledge.’ This thereby constructs a vision of ‘coexistence’ characterized by ‘shared emotions and mutual benevolence.’ In contemporary thought, the "affective turn" has brought the study of ‘emotion’ into prominence, with particular attention to French philosopher Gilles Deleuze's ‘affect theory,’ which underscores the co-constitution of body and mind. In comparison, Dai Zhen's emphasis on ‘using emotion to measure emotion’ to foster interpersonal resonance which aligns closely with affect theory. This raises some critical questions of Dai Zhen's ethical framework. This paper aims to initiate a cross-cultural dialogue between Dai Zhen's ‘body- emotion’ philosophy and Deleuze's ‘affect theory,’ serving as the foundation of its inquiry and research objectives. |
