| 英文摘要 | Objectives: The average stocktaking time for emergency nursing staff was 26.6 minutes, with cumbersome procedures leading to delayed shifts and occasional equipment loss, which impacted patient safety and unit management. This project aimed to streamline the stocktaking process, reduce time consumption, and improve operational efficiency. Methods: A comprehensive analysis identified key issues, including overly complex stocktaking procedures, scattered equipment placement, and inaccurate logging. Improvement measures included the adoption of an electronic stocktaking system, reorganization of equipment placement, simplification of item lists, and staff training to enhance system familiarity. Results: The average stocktaking time was reduced from 26.6 minutes to 11.9 minutes, reflecting a 55.3% improvement. Additionally, no equipment loss was reported from 2022 to 2024, demonstrating significant improvements in asset management. Conclusions: This project effectively enhanced stocktaking efficiency in the emergency department, reduced staff workload, ensured asset integrity, and contributed to improved patient safety and overall care quality. |
