| 英文摘要 | This study is based on agricultural reports from the Agriculture and Food Agency and orthophotos from 1980 to 2024, combined with 153 existing tea plantation spatial data, to investigate the spatial distribution and development changes of tea plantations in Liouguei and Taoyuan districts, Kaohsiung City, through temporal spatial analysis and land use interpretation. The results indicate that although the total area of tea plantations in Kaohsiung decreased between 1997 and 2022, Camellia formosensis plantations exhibited a clear spatial redistribution. Tea plantations in Liouguei were established earlier, mostly converted from forests, gradually forming an agroforestry system with tea-forest coexistence, showing a stable and diversified development trend. In contrast, tea plantations in Taoyuan rapidly expanded after 2009, largely developed from primary forests, forming a highly concentrated and monocultural pattern. Both districts’ tea plantations have expanded toward higher elevations, reflecting the combined influence of climatic conditions, topography, and market demand. Overall, the Camellia formosensis industry in Kaohsiung exhibits distinct regional differentiation, highlighting the dynamics of local agricultural transformation and emphasizing the potential ecological and sustainable resource management implications of forest land development, providing important references for land use planning and industry policy. |
