| 英文摘要 | Following the domestic incorporation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) in Taiwan, the concept of reasonable accommodation has gained increasing attention within school-based education and has become a critical measure in advancing inclusive education. This article aims to clarify the conceptual framework of reasonable accommodation and systematically examine its practical implementation in schools. The discussion includes its definition, eligible recipients, applicable scope, application procedures, assessment principles, and the practical challenges encountered during implementation, along with suggested strategies for response. The goal is to assist schools in more effectively adopting reasonable accommodation measures to ensure equitable participation in educational activities for students with disabilities. Implementing reasonable accommodation is not only a legal responsibility but also a vital pathway to achieving educational equity and inclusion. |
