| 英文摘要 | Purpose: The dismount is one of the mandatory high-difficulty elements in artistic gymnastics routines. This study investigates the dismount techniques used by elite international male gymnasts and Taiwanese male gymnasts in the floor exercise, pommel horse, rings, parallel bars, and horizontal bar events. The aim is to understand the usage patterns of dismount elements between international and domestic gymnasts in each apparatus. Methods: The subjects of this study included the finalists in the floor exercise, pommel horse, rings, parallel bars, and horizontal bar events at the 2023 World Championships, 2021 Summer Universiade, and Taiwan’s 112th National Games and 113th National Collegiate Games. Non-parametric statistical analysis was used to compare the dismount scores between the international and domestic groups. Chi-square tests were conducted to compare the frequency of high-difficulty dismounts in the parallel bars and horizontal bar events, while descriptive statistics were used to analyze the difficulty levels of dismounts in the pommel horse and rings events. Results: The findings revealed that domestic gymnasts had lower dismount scores in the pommel horse (p = .014), rings (p = .003), parallel bars (p = .005), and horizontal bar (p < .001) events compared to their international counterparts. Within the international group, the horizontal bar dismount scores were higher than those for the floor exercise (p = .023), while in the domestic group, the parallel bars scores surpassed those for the rings (p = .016). International gymnasts demonstrated a higher frequency of high-difficulty dismounts in the parallel bars (p = .004) and horizontal bar events (p < .001) compared to domestic gymnasts. Conclusions:1. The dismount scores of the domestic group, except in the floor exercise, were lower than those of the international group, with significant gaps in the rings and horizontal bar events. The rings dismount scores for domestic gymnasts were the lowest across all apparatus. 2. Although domestic gymnasts were able to perform D-level dismounts on the pommel horse and parallel bars, complying with scoring regulations, international gymnasts performed higher-difficulty elements. Taiwanese gymnasts should prioritize improving the difficulty of their rings dismounts. 3. Future research could analyze the usage of high-difficulty dismounts by elite international gymnasts under the new code of points. |
