| 英文摘要 | This article discusses the nursing experience of a 35-year-old male patient who suffered a cervical spine injury (C4-C6) in a car accident, resulting in lower body paralysis. During the care process, the patient, dependent on others for assistance, exhibited anger and frustration, leading to conflicts with his mother. The nursing period spanned from February 4 to February 24, 2022. Through Gordon's Eleven Functional Health Patterns assessment, the patient was found to have issues related to physical mobility, hopelessness, and caregiver role strain.Utilizing professional knowledge and collaborating with the medical team, an individualized care plan was developed. This plan included: Guiding the patient in joint exercises and strength training to enhance limb mobility and promote recovery: Providing the patient's mother with information on discharge preparation and long-term care, teaching her caregiving techniques to alleviate stress. Educating the patient on self-care for daily living to increase his independence and reduce his mother's psychological burden. The major challenge in the nursing process was addressing the psychological, social, and family issues arising from the patient's cervical spine injury. It is recommended to integrate resources from psychologists, social workers, discharge preparation services, and long-term care management centers to offer comprehensive and continuous follow-up care. This multidisciplinary approach aims to promote the patient's physical recovery, focus on psychological and social adaptation, and improve the overall quality of life for both the patient and his family. |
