| 英文摘要 | This article aims to explore the application of holistic care reasoning in caring of pregnant women who were resting in bed to maintain pregnancy and to conduct an in-depth analysis of the physical, psychological, and spiritual challenges they were facing. The primary challenges include physiological issues - such as early uterine contractions and medication side effects; psychological issues - such as anxiety and feelings of isolation; and spiritual concerns -such as uncertainty about the future. In the hope of addressing these challenges, healthcare providers shall adopt a comprehensive support strategy. Based on Swanson's Theory of Caring, this article proposes five core processes include understanding, companionship, doing something for her, enabling, and maintaining belief. These principles help provide trust in building and support the relationships, ultimately enhancing the self-care abilities of patients. By applying a holistic care approach, healthcare providers were required to comprehensively address pregnant women's needs in terms of physical health, psychological well-being, social support, and spiritual care. Through case analysis, this study finds that personalized psychological support such as relaxation training, and spiritual companionship can significantly reduce anxiety, depression, and stress symptoms, thereby improve pregnant women's psychosocial well-being. The application of holistic care plays a crucial role in enhancing the physical, psychological, and spiritual health of pregnant women, facilitating a smooth transition during pregnancy, and improving the quality of nursing care. In the future, relevant research and practice shall be strengthened to further providing more comprehensive and empathetic care support for pregnant women seeking to maintain pregnancy. |
