| 英文摘要 | This report documents the "Innovation and Foresight in East Asian Digital Humanities" DADH 2024 post-conference forum held on December 2, 2024, at the Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy, Academia Sinica. The meeting brought together digital humanities scholars from mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea to collectively discuss the current status, challenges, and future prospects of digital humanities development in East Asia. Forum topics included important issues such as Han character encoding, database construction, text analysis, and artificial intelligence (AI) applications, showcasing the vibrant development and innovative momentum of East Asian digital humanities research. The minutes separately introduced the characteristics of digital humanities development in each region. Participants widely expressed concern about the foundational infrastructure level, particularly the challenges of Han character encoding and the integration of ancient text databases, as well as the difficulties faced in talent cultivation. The introduction of AI technology is gradually reshaping the research paradigms of digital humanities; scholars emphasized that AI should serve researchers' problem awareness and promote human-machine collaboration. Future prospects focus on fostering institutionalized collaboration among East Asian digital humanities associations, promoting knowledge sharing and resource integration, ultimately constructing a digital knowledge system that possesses both historical depth and technological innovation, and responds to the characteristics of East Asian languages and cultures. This forum was considered a new starting point for regional collaboration in East Asia. |
