| 中文摘要 | 本研究聚焦於澎湖山水上帝廟元宵節的民俗儀式「乞大金靈龜」,以2018年至2024年間花開富貴金靈龜(原第二金靈龜)的造型變化為核心,探討信仰物件如何在當代表現語境中建立具體設計與製作機制。研究結合參與式觀察、深度訪談與造型紀錄分析,呈現金靈龜從素面樣式、鳳冠造型到以「花開富貴」為主題之發展歷程,並解析其象徵意涵與工藝轉變。研究發現,金靈龜造型之變化不僅為視覺外觀的轉換,更反映材質選擇、宗教象徵與地方審美的協商歷程。其演變主要透過龜主、廟方與製作者之間的互動調整完成,顯示信仰工藝如何在制度化條件不足下,透過實作經驗逐步建構具延續性的運作機制。本研究的貢獻包括:一、補足當代民俗研究中對地方信仰物件設計流程的實作記錄不足;二、說明多方參與者如何在造型決策中協調傳統信仰與現代期待;三、歸納金靈龜造型的裝飾與美學特徵,提供作為地方信仰美學觀察的個案參考。整體而言,金靈龜逐漸由靜態的還願物轉變為結合地方特色、社群凝聚與象徵功能的信仰工藝物件,反映當代地方儀式透過工藝實踐達成文化調和與創新的可能性。 |
| 英文摘要 | This study focuses on the folk ritual of "requesting the Golden Turtle" during the Lantern Festival at the Shanshui Lord Temple in Penghu. It takes the "Flourishing Flower Golden Turtle" (formerly the Second Golden Turtle) from 2018 to 2024 as the main case, exploring how a religious object gradually formed a specific design and production process in a modern context. Through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and visual records, the research shows how the turtle's design changed-from a simple form, to a phoenix crown version, and finally to the "Flourishing Flower" theme. These changes reflect not only the turtle's appearance, but also decisions about materials, symbolic meanings, and local aesthetics. The study finds that these design changes were the result of ongoing discussion and cooperation among the turtle's donor (the "turtle holder"), the temple, and the craftsperson. Even without a strict system, this collaboration helped create a flexible and lasting working model through real-world practice. The contributions of this study are: 1.Providing a hands-on case to fill the gap in local religion and craft studies, especially on how such objects are designed; 2.Showing how different people work together to balance traditional beliefs with modern expectations during the design process; 3.Summarizing the visual and decorative features of the Golden Turtle, offering insight into local religious aesthetics. Overall, the Golden Turtle has developed from a simple offering object into a meaningful religious item that expresses local culture, community values, and symbolic messages-showing how traditional rituals can evolve through craft practice in today's society. |
