| 英文摘要 | Health literacy plays a crucial role in individual health. However, the health literacy of older adults receiving long-term care (Tier-C stations) remains largely unexplored. This study assessed the health literacy of 481 older adults (M = 75, SD = 7.45) at Tier C stations using the Health Literacy Questionnaire for Older Adults. The mean score was 47.1 (SD = 7.084). The results showed that lower health literacy was associated with older age (β = -0.182, p < .001). Higher health literacy was more prevalent among people with higher educational attainment, regular Internet and computer users, married people, and those living with spouse only. Sexspecific analysis revealed that men benefited significantly from access to digital tools such as mobile devices, while women showed greater variation in levels of health literacy depending on educational attainment and social support. Based on the findings, this study recommends that planners of health literacy programs for older adults adopt a gender-sensitive approach. Programs should incorporate gender perspectives and respond to the diverse needs of the community while enhancing social support and participation among disadvantaged older adults to advance the goals of community-based health care. |
