| 英文摘要 | The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a health education program integrating SETH spirituality for cancer patients, which incorporated fundamental SETH concepts including "you create your own reality," "the soul is eternal," and "the power of the present moment", alongside spiritual perspectives on health emphasizing that the body is inherently healthy, possesses self-healing capabilities, and reflects the state of the mind. Over the two-month period, participants were fully immersed in the program, embracing new beliefs, releasing emotions, reducing death anxiety, enhancing self-awareness and acceptance, and building support systems to achieve the goal of holistic healing. Both quantitative and qualitative analyses unveiled significant improvements in holistic well-being, happiness, and reduced hopelessness among participants (16 female cancer patients) compared to the control group (14 female cancer patients). Post-program reflections indicated shifts in participants' attitudes towards death, emotional catharsis, heightened self-awareness, and greater acceptance of illness, in line with the program's objectives. Future research may expand the sample size, further refine the program, and explore its broader application to other medical conditions. |
