| 英文摘要 | Traditional methods of epidemic prevention typically rely on vaccination to control infectious diseases. However, neglecting environmental transmission factors has shown limited effectiveness in controlling the COVID-19 pandemic. Environmental factors that significantly contribute to the spread of epidemics, especially airborne transmission of viruses, should not be ignored. These factors include poor indoor ventilation, air pollution, toilets, sewage treatment, plastic and stainless-steel surfaces, and climate. A comprehensive strategy addressing environmental transmission factors should be adopted to curb the pandemic effectively, and an antiviral environment should be established. In addition to wash your hands frequently and wear a mask, key measures should include improving ventilation systems in enclosed spaces, reducing the use of plastic and stainless-steel products, planting antiviral plants, using air purifiers equipped with HEPA filters and virus-killing functions (e.g. Nanoe technology producing •OH, hydroxyl radical), appropriate use of ultraviolet germicidal irradiation in working place or public places, targeted surface disinfection in high risk and public spaces, increasing the intake of antiviral foods, afforestation and reforestation, and promoting forest bathing activities. By addressing individuals' internal and external environments, a comprehensive approach to epidemic prevention and health promotion can be developed, exploring a sustainable path to coexist with the virus beyond vaccination and medication. |
