| 英文摘要 | Food transcends mere sustenance. It embodies a cultural identity that encapsulates the traditions and narratives of the societies that conceive, uphold, and disseminate it. From early on, Saigon proved to be a land of integration, and Saigon bread is a prime example of this ability. This article delves into Cultural Fusion Theory, using bread as a symbolic lens to examine the intertwining complexities of street food in Ho Chi Minh City. Employing a deductive approach and drawing insights from pertinent literature and dialogues, it illustrates how the adaptable evolution (from nomenclature to ingredients, flavor, and presentation) epitomizes the harmonious blend of French culinary essence and traditional Vietnamese gastronomy - A new format creates Saigon’s version of bread. |
