| 英文摘要 | The mental health issues among teenagers are becoming increasingly severe, particularly with recent incidents of teenagers jumping from buildings. This makes it crucial to explore the role of police in the mental health of teenagers. This study surveyed 913 teenagers, including 583 females (64%) and 330 males (36%), to analyze the relationship between satisfaction with police interactions, emotional issues, and community safety perception among teenagers. The results show that the respect, understanding, and assistance provided by police have a significant impact on the mental health of teenagers. It is recommended to enhance the communication skills and empathy of police officers, strengthen mental health support, and offer more mental health counseling to promote the mental health and community safety of teenagers. Cooperation among multiple sectors and policy reforms are suggested to create a more supportive environment, helping teenagers grow up healthy and happy. Future research should consider different regions and cultural backgrounds to improve the generalizability and applicability of the study. |
