| 英文摘要 | This paper examines the development and transformation of traditional Truku weaving craft within contemporary school settings, focusing on the weaving club at Shan Shui Primary School in Hualien County. It explores how the traditional weaving craft mentoring has evolved in this case study, and how it connects the community, schools, and students. The study analyzes the club's curriculum, teaching materials, pedagogical methods, as well as the development and operation. It is based on observations within the weaving club and interviews with relevant individuals, forming the foundation of the case study. The study reveals that traditional weaving craft embodies the collective knowledge and cultural values of the Truku tribe. In the club, teaching and learning weaving enables the artisans to connect their cultural knowledge and skills with the students' life experiences. This process transforms into a curriculum that integrates the community's environment and cultural knowledge. Through observation, hands-on practice, and oral transmission, students come to understand the significance inherent in weaving craft, making weaving a mode of cultural expression. In addition to gaining practical skills that cannot be obtained in formal classrooms, indigenous education allows students to develop a connection with their unique identity and their community's cultural heritage. |
