| 英文摘要 | This study investigated the causes of the gap between education and employment in Taiwanese higher education, and explored related strategies adopted by students and enterprises. Using literature analysis and semi-structured interviews, this study synthesized the perspectives of corporate supervisors, employees, and academic advisors through systematic organization and inductive reasoning. The findings revealed that university diplomas primarily serve as initial screening criteria for job applicants, while the amplified training costs resulting from skill mismatches have prompted enterprises to adopt more conservative approaches to employee development. Furthermore, effective industry-academia collaboration requires substantial governmental support, as institutional facilitation significantly enhances partnership efficacy. This paper proposes three strategic recommendations: 1. Proactive acquisition of specialized knowledge aligned with target industries, which is more effective than sole reliance on academic credentials for achieving desired compensation and career advancement. 2. Industry-academia collaboration mechanisms should be optimized to reduce transitional adaptation periods for graduates. 3. Governmental policy incentives and institutional support should be implemented to stimulate cooperative initiatives between educational institutions and enterprises, thereby mitigating the education-employment disparity. |
