| 英文摘要 | This article describes the emergency nursing experience of a 34-year-old new female immigrant who suffered rib fractures and pneumothorax due to domestic violence by her husband. The care period was from 10:05 to 15:30 on October 2, 2021. The patient sought medical attention alone, with teary eyes, difficulty in breathing, and multiple obvious external injuries on her body. Later, she revealed that she had been abused domestically by her husband under the influence of alcohol. Direct nursing care, observation, interviews, and Gordon's 11 Functional Health Assessment were utilized to confirm the patient had three nursing health issues: acute pain, ineffective respiratory pattern, and fear. During the nursing period, apart from providing a concealed space for medical procedures, the care approach involved continuous companionship, patient listening, and active care. The patient was encouraged to express her inner feelings and release emotions, and assistance was provided in reporting the incident and offering knowledge about domestic violence. Referral to a social worker was made for handling subsequent family issues and overcoming the shadow of violence. Strengthening the support system aimed to alleviate the patient's fear of potential reoccurrence of abuse. It is recommended that an interdisciplinary collaborative model can be applied to comprehensive care, with early joint assessment and intervention to ensure appropriate care for victims of abuse. It is hoped that by sharing this nursing care experience, it can serve as a reference for emergency nursing staff when caring for domestic violence cases. |
