| 中文摘要 | 本試驗旨在探討添加不同含量綠茶副茶粉,對 6 到 16 週齡之雌日本鵪鶉產蛋性能與 體內脂肪蓄積之影響。實驗動物為先前研究之生長試驗所保留的雌鶉,延續之前的處理, 飼糧中綠茶副茶粉之濃度為 0、0.5、1、2、4 或 8%,但將每個處理組之雌鶉,於試驗開始 時重新逢機分入 6 欄。試驗期間每兩週檢測其產蛋性能及蛋黃重量、脂肪濃度與膽固醇含 量;並且於 16 週齡時,每組隨機挑選 16 隻雌鳥犧牲採樣,檢測其血脂濃度、腹脂重與肝臟 脂肪含量。結果顯示,其平均蛋重會隨著飼糧中綠茶副茶粉含量之上升而呈直線下降(P < 0.05),然而其隻日產蛋率則在綠茶副茶粉濃度超過 2% 時才會逐漸下降(P < 0.05)。至 於每日採食量、肝臟重、肝臟佔體重比例與血漿中高密度脂蛋白固醇濃度等,皆與飼糧中綠 茶副茶粉的含量呈二次曲線關係(P < 0.05),會隨著飼糧內綠茶副茶粉含量上升而逐漸下 降至 4%,然而 8% 組則呈現回升。除了 0.5% 處理組外,飼糧中綠茶副茶粉含量的增加,也 會減少雌日本鵪鶉腹腔內脂肪之蓄積,並且 8% 處理組,無論在飼料換蛋率,還是在蛋黃脂 肪含量,均顯著低於其他處理組(P < 0.05)。此外,餵予雌鶉含不低於 2% 綠茶副茶粉之 飼糧,能顯著降低其蛋黃中膽固醇的含量。綜上所述,雖然大量添加綠茶副茶粉於產蛋飼糧 中,具有抑制雌日本鵪鶉體內脂肪蓄積與降低蛋黃膽固醇含量的功能,然而為了不影響蛋 重、隻日產蛋率與飼料換蛋率等產蛋性能,並且能達到降低蛋黃膽固醇含量的功效,添加在 雌日本鵪鶉飼糧內的綠茶副茶粉含量以 2% 為宜。 |
| 英文摘要 | This study aimed to investigate the impact of adding different concentrations of green tea byproduct powder on the intra-abdominal fat accumulation and yolk cholesterol content in female Japanese quail aged 6 to 16 weeks. The experimental animals were female Japanese quail retained from a previous growth trial, and the concentrations of green tea byproduct powder in the feed were set at 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, or 8%, following the previous treatment. In the beginning of the experiment, each treatment group's females were randomly redistributed into six replicates. Egg production performance, yolk weight, fat content, and cholesterol content were measured every two weeks during the experiment. At 16 weeks of age, 16 randomly selected females from each group were sacrificed for sampling to measure blood lipid concentrations, abdominal fat weight, and liver fat content. The results showed that the average egg weight linearly decreased with the increasing concentration of green tea byproduct powder in the feed (P < 0.05). However, the hen- day egg production rate only gradually decreased when the concentration of green tea byproduct powder exceeded 2% (P < 0.05). Daily feed intake, liver weight, liver-to-body weight ratio, and highdensity lipoprotein cholesterol concentration in plasma exhibited quadratic relationships with an increase in the dietary concentration of green tea byproduct powder (P < 0.05). These parameters gradually decreased up to 4% and then increased again for the 8% group. Except for the 0.5% treatment group, an increase in the concentration of green tea byproduct powder in the feed reduced intra-abdominal fat accumulation in female Japanese quail. In the 8% treatment group, both feed conversion ratio and yolk fat content were significantly lower than those in other treatment groups (P < 0.05). Additionally, feeding female Japanese quail with feed containing no less than 2% green tea byproduct powder significantly reduced the cholesterol content in the egg yolk. In conclusion, although adding a large amount of green tea byproduct powder to feed for layers has the functionality of inhibiting intra-abdominal fat accumulation and reducing yolk cholesterol content in female Japanese quail, an appropriate concentration of 2% is recommended to avoid affecting negatively egg weight, daily egg production rate, feed conversion ratio, and achieve the desired effect of lowering yolk cholesterol content. |
