| 英文摘要 | This study explores the Taiwanese drama movement in the early postwar period, focusing on two contemporary pioneers of the Taiwanese drama movement-Ông lo̍k-tek (1924-1985) and Chhòa Tek-pún (1925-2015). Ông lo̍k-tek was engaged in the creation and performance of Taiwanese dramas in Tainan from 1945 to 1947. He published plays such as "The New Dynasty", "The Deserters", and "The Way of Youth". Ông lo̍k-tek's drama experiences made him realize the difficulty of writing in Taiwanese, which also influenced his later determination to invent a notation system for Taiwanese. In 1948, while in the Taiwan Normal University, Chhòa Tek-pún founded the "Taiwanese Drama Club". He performed in Taiwanese dramas such as "Before Dawn" and "The Death of A-T" at the Normal University. He also founded the "Phoh-chú Student Association" in his hometown of Phoh-chú, Ka-gi to promote the Taiwanese drama movement. After the performance of "Before Dawn", a "Post-performance Symposium" was held to discuss the issue of using Romanized Taiwanese to express Taiwanese (Tâi-gí), and to create Taiwanese literature. Through exploring the process and discussion of Ông lo̍k-tek and Chhòa Tek-pún's promotion of Taiwanese drama, this paper seeks to point out three significant aspects of the Taiwanese drama movement in the early postwar period: 1. The activists have a clear language awareness, 2. Taiwanese drama has the function of promoting social education and enhancing Taiwan's cultural status, 3. The activists ponders the issue of writing out the Taiwanese language through Taiwanese drama activities. |
