| 中文摘要 | 知識在德行中扮演的角色一直是爭議的所在,本文從比較哲學的觀點,針對儒家倫 理學中的尊德性與道問學和亞里斯多德的德行倫理學的實踐智慧相比較。實踐智慧是亞 氏靈魂論中的五種智德之一,與技藝、科學、智慧、努斯並列,在德行中,實踐智慧扮 演重要一角色。在德行中,實踐智慧扮演重要角色。而宋儒對尊德性與道問學的爭議, 也是在於何種知識對於德行有較重要的影響。本文的發現有:1、亞氏對知識的分類較細 膩,用實踐智慧來整合與德行有關的知識。2、儒家對知識的分類過於簡化,可說並無 與實用智慧相對應的概念。3、朱熹理學派的道問學科學成分不高。4、德行的目的與手 段是互動關係,不可截然二分。5、在道德教育方面,實作是增進實踐智慧的主要方式。 |
| 英文摘要 | Since knowledge plays a controversial role in moral action, from the perspective of comparative philosophy, this article compares the Aristotelian concept of practical wisdom with Confucian concepts of honouring the virtuous nature and pursuing inquiry and study. Practical wisdom is one of the five intellectual virtues which include technology, science, wisdom, and nous in Aristotelian ethics. It is an important virtue in moral action. The dispute between honouring the virtuous nature and pursuing inquiry and study in Confucian ethics is about what kind of knowledge should be the priority. The findings of the article are as follow: 1. Aristotle has a more detailed division of knowledge, where practical wisdom is the organizer of intellectual virtues in moral action. 2.The division of knowledge is overly simplified in Confucianism, and there is no corresponding concept of practical wisdom in Confucianism. 3.The pursuit of inquiry and study held by Zhu Xi involves little natural science. 4.Since there is interaction between ends and means in moral action, they should not be separated. 5. In moral education, practical wisdom should be cultivated by practicing. |
