| 英文摘要 | The decreasing birthrate is now a matter of national security, highlighting the critical role of childcare services in meeting infant care needs. This shift, coupled with changes in family structures and the rise of dual-income households, has significantly increased the demand for such services. Established in 2020, the “Jimmy Bear Infant Center” has sought to modernize by transitioning from traditional paperbased communication methods to an “electronic contact book,” aiming to boost organizational performance and service quality. However, this shift inadvertently increased workloads and led to new challenges in communication and trust within the organization. This study adopts a distinctive angle, focusing on the education service industry, to examine the feasibility and challenges of digitalization in such settings. It begins by analyzing the specific “micro-system” characteristics and responsibilities of the infant center, situated within a broader ecosystem. The analysis then applies the Task-Technology Fit Theory to determine if the electronic contact book is appropriate for the center’s needs. This exploration aims to understand why the electronic contact book did not meet expectations in facilitating effective communication between the “micro-system” and “meso-system.” The study concludes with comprehensive recommendations for the infant care industry, titled “The Small Infant Care Industry – A Big Change in Communication.” These suggestions outline a holistic digitalization strategy designed to enhance communication and streamline operations within the industry. |
