| 英文摘要 | On August 15, 1945, Japan was defeated and surrendered, and the Anti-Japan War ended. At this time, Master Yinshun was in the Sino-Tibetan Institute in Sichuan’s Great Rear Area, which was also where he lived during the war. After the war, he intended to return to Jiangnan but was unable to leave Hanyuan due to trafc congestion. It was only till Ching Ming Festival in 1946, that he was able to leave the Institute, travel from Chongqing to Baoji and Xi’an, pass through Luoyang and Zhengzhou, and then go south from Zhengzhou to Wuchang. Master Yinshun arrived in Shanghai at the end of the first lunar month of 1947 and met Master Taisu at the Jade Buddha Temple. However, Master Taisu passed away soon after that. On May 20, 1947, together with Xu Ming, Yang Xingsen and others, he compiled The collected works of Great Master Taixu at Xuedou Temple. In January 1949, due to the tense situation between Nanjing and Shanghai, he temporarily moved to Xiamen. In June 1949, war was imminent in the Zhangzhou and Quanzhou areas. He, Xu Ming, Chang Jue, Guang Fan and others left Xiamen and arrived at Hong Kong. This article aims first to explain a series of historical facts: after World War II, Master Yinshun left the Sino-Tibetan Institute in 1946. In order to escape the disaster, he arrived in Hong Kong in June 1949. Second, to analyze what he has done, who he has interacted, where and what sutras he has preached, what articles he has written, what books he has published in the past three years or so. Hopefully, through this study, I can present the important history of Master Yinshun’s “migration in the turbulent years.” |
