中文摘要 | 衛教文宣是醫療照護人員進行衛教常用的工具,而提供的衛教文宣須讓病人或主要照顧者看得懂或易理解,才能提升病人或照顧者的健康識能,以達到訊息傳遞 的目的。本研究主要探討輔以健康識能版衛教文宣的衛生教育,對於糖尿病人健康 識能及血糖照護指標之成效。本研究為類實驗設計,採方便取樣,於南部某醫學中 心糖尿病衛教諮詢診共收案128人。實驗組輔以圖式為主之視覺化學習健康識能版衛 教文宣提供衛教,對照組為提供傳統文字版衛教單張。於首次收案及6個月後進行資 料收集。並以知識、態度、行為、滿意度及糖化血色素控制狀況來檢視方案介入後 之成效。研究結果發現,實驗組個案無論是在知識、態度、行為、滿意度及糖化血 色素控制的表現皆比單提供文字版衛教文宣之控制組病人有顯著改善(p<0.05)。 此研究結果可做為未來照護人員在提供糖尿病病人衛教時之參考,期提升病人學習成效,建立健康促進行為,進而改善生活品質與減少醫療開支。 |
英文摘要 | Health education materials are the tools that healthcare professionals use frequently to teach patients and caregivers. The health information provided needs to be readable and understandable to facilitate the conveying of the message and thus enhance the patient or caregiver's knowledge. This study explores the effectiveness of materials supplemented with health literacy on health awareness and glycemic control in people with diabetes. This study applied a quasi-experimental design with convenience sampling. A total of 128 patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to the outpatient metabolism department in a medical center of southern Taiwan participated in the study. The experimental group received the health literacy materials while the control group received the traditional materials. Data were collected prior to and 6 months after participating study. Results showed that the experimental group had significantly better scores on knowledge, attitude, behavior, and HbA1C level compared with that of the control group (p <0.05). This result can be used as a reference for future caregivers when providing health education for patients with diabetes, in order to improve the patient's learning effect establish health promoting behaviors as well as the quality of life and reduce medical expenses. |
