英文摘要 | Healthcare workers are at higher suicidal risk than non-healthcare workers. Facing the stress accompanying by the COVID-19 pandemic, such as work stress, life change, lack of support, and suffering from stigma, could increase the work load, exacerbate mental health, and increase suicide risk. To promote the mental health of healthcare workers, regular screening of mental health, updating the knowledge about the pandemic, reducing stigma, lowering the burden of seeking help, increasing social support and building a gateway of communication are recommended suicidal prevention strategies. For people with great mood disturbance, more trauma responses, and higher suicidal risk, additional psychotherapy is needed. DBT-informed therapy being held as online group therapy is empirically supported effective, that makes it becomes one of the choices that alleviate trauma responses. |
