英文摘要 | Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex and highly prevalent neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by core symptoms including fixation behavior, limited interests, and difficulties in social communication. Additionally, individuals with ASD exhibit cognitive-executive dysfunction and lower performance in fine and gross motor skills compared to their typically developing peers. These neurological, motor, and cognitive problems are highly correlated with each other. While ASD is generally not curable, regular participation in physical activities and exercise has been proven to bring about some improvements in the mentioned symptoms. Therefore, this paper provides insights from recent literature on effectively treating these issues in individuals with ASD through regular exercise, aiming to offer valuable reference points for parents, teachers, and clinical medical professionals. |
