英文摘要 | Physical activity is known to prevent a number of chronic diseases including cardiovascular disease, hypertension, type II diabetes, and certain cancers. Regular exercise is likely to promote vascular health by lowering blood pressure, lipids, obesity and inflammatory markers, and improving endothelial function. physical activity reduces the risk of dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Physical activity may be protective against cognitive decline and neurodegenerative diseases through a number of possible mechanisms. In particular, cerebral circulation appears to be important for cognitive performance and exercise adaptations may involve improved blood flow and oxygen supply to these areas. Exercise benefits executive control processes of cognition including selective attention, planning, organizing, multitasking, inhibition, and working memory. The purpose of this study is to explore the current status on Cognitive Activities of a Community Care Center in Kaohsiung. Subjects for the study were community elderly in Kaohsiung. a total of 18; adopt measurement approaches, Descriptive statistical analysis. The results found that the low scores of subjects in the measure lower extremity muscle strength, 6-min walking distance, visuospatial / executive, naming, attention, language, abstraction, delayed recall, orientation and Montreal cognitive assessment (MOCA). The study suggested developing physical fitness programs and physical and cognitive prescriptions for the community elderly. |
