| 英文摘要 | Foxtail millet plays an important role in the ritual, institution, and culture of Bunun. In addition, the indigenous culture contributes to the diversity of local landraces of foxtail millet. However, with the impact of historical factors and globalization, the landraces and agriculture of foxtail millets had vanished locally. Thanks to the help of the National Plant Genetic Resources Center, 28 Bunun foxtail millet landraces were preserved. To select dominant landraces for further restoration, our research provides information about yield, inheritance-relativity, and context of these foxtail millet landraces. For yield, "Lang' has/Luse di an" and "E-val" are the most productive non-waxy and waxy landraces individually. While "Sabulook" and "Sa-vung-ath" are the least productive non-waxy and waxy landraces individually. For inheritance-relativity, 3 sets of landraces showed synonyms. 2 sets were collected from the same indigenous community, and 1 set was collected from different indigenous communities. For context, our research found these landraces were named mostly based on the morphology of the panicle, the name of the planter or owner, and the place name in the Bunun language. For culinary preference, these landraces were classified as "for porridge or rice" or "for wine or sticky cake". For application scenarios, they were classified as "staple food", "for special characters", or "for ritual". |
