中文摘要 | 本研究目的在探討共讀數學繪本時母親的數字對話種類及型態與 幼兒數字對話的相關。研究者邀請 28 對母親與其 3 至 4 歲幼兒共讀計 數類型數學繪本,蒐集共讀時母親數字對話的種類與型態,以及幼兒 數字對話的種類,並探求這兩者的關係。研究結果發現,首先,母親 及幼兒的數字對話種類集中在計數詞、基數詞、及認讀數字詞;而母 親以基數詞最多,幼兒則以計數詞最多。其次,母親使用的數字對話 型態以陳述最多,其次是提問,較少出現提示。最後,母親最主要的 三種數字對話(計數、基數、認讀數字)與幼兒相同種類的數字對話 及數字對話總數有正相關;而母親的提示及提問兩種型態與幼兒數字 對話中的計數詞、基數詞、及數字對話總數有正相關;但是母親的陳 述並不利於幼兒使用數字對話。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the types and patterns of maternal number talk and preschoolers’ number talks during shared mathematical picture book reading. Twenty-eight mothers and their 3- to 4-year-old preschoolers were recruited and audio-recorded while they shared reading a counting-type picture book. The types and forms of maternal number talks and the types of preschoolers’ number talks were examined to investigate the relationship between them. The results showed that, firstly, the main types of number talk by both mothers and preschoolers were concentrated on counting, cardinality, and number identification. Mothers used cardinal words the most, while preschoolers used counting words the most. Secondly, most common pattern of maternal number talk was statements, followed by questions, and with prompts being the least frequent. Finally, there was a positive correlation between the three main types of maternal number talk (counting, cardinal, numeral reading) and the corresponding types of preschoolers' number talk as well as the total number of preschoolers' number talk. Additionally, maternal prompts and questions were positively correlated to preschoolers’ use of counting words, cardinal words, and the total number of number talks; however, maternal statements were not facilitate preschoolers’ number talks. |
