中文摘要 | 伸展臺模特兒常面對公眾舞臺展現身材,期間須具備強大的抗壓能力,來克服走秀時所產生之壓力情境。本研究目的藉由心率變異度測量,觀察不同性別模特兒,在服裝秀表演前1週與登臺前20分鐘之抗壓能力表現與自律神經變化情形。以臺北市立大學運動藝術學系模特兒組20位(男性8位、女性12位),平均接受2.85年以上專業訓練且具經紀公司簽約之健康自願者參與本實驗。結果發現從壓力視覺量表與心率變異度在高頻指標表現上(副交感神經活動),皆有效反應出所有模特兒在登臺前20分鐘時的壓力作用;且不論男、女均呈現顯著下降情形,其中又以女性下降幅度較男性低。本研究結論顯示女性模特兒當面對公開身材展現時之抗壓能力較男性佳,亦發現透過心率變異度測量,將可有效作為流行模特兒之壓力檢測工具。 |
英文摘要 | Fashion runway models require strong coping capacity to overcome the mental stress during physical presentation against public scrutiny during a fashion show. The purpose of this study was to examine the mental coping capacity of male and female runway models before stage performance (1 week before and 20 min before) using heart rate variability measurement to mirror autonomic nervous response during a simulated fashion show. Twenty models (8 males, 12 females) from the Department of Sports Performing Arts, University of Taipei, were voluntarily participated in this study. Participants had good physical fitness and professional model training for > 2.85 years. All participants were contracted professional model in Taiwan. Our results showed significant decreases in visual analog scale (VAS) score and high frequency (HF) parasympathetic nervous activity for all models 20 min before performance. Furthermore, female models reflected a significant less drop in HF power compared with male models. This study concludes that female models appear to have better coping capacity than their male counterparts in public physical presentation. Our finding suggests that HRV can be used as a tool to monitor stress level for fashion models. |
