| 英文摘要 | Human immune system can actively identify and eliminate cancer cells. However, cancer cells can carry out the immunity resistance through immunoediting. Cancer immunoediting is a process consisting of three phases: elimination, equilibrium, and escape. Our immune system is divided into two arms: the innate and adaptive immune systems. The innate immune cells include macrophages, neutrophils, dendritic cells, and natural killer cells. Among them, activated natural killer cells kill cancer cells directly. The adaptive immune cells are mainly T lymphocytes (T cells) and B lymphocytes (B cells). The dendritic cell presents the digested tumor antigens on its surface in conjunction with MHC proteins and the T cell recognizes the MHC-antigen complex, and then through the action of additional co-stimulatory signals, the T cell becomes activated to kill cancer cells intracellularly. The B cells differentiate into the plasma cells to produce antibodies that can be directly against cancer cells. Our innate and adaptive immune systems are always surveilling and fighting cancer, but cancer cells can suppress the immune response in many ways. How to overcome these obstacles is the subject of cancer immunotherapy nowadays. |
