| 中文摘要 | 本研究以掃描式電子顯微鏡(SEM)進行臺灣產柃木屬15種木材顯微組織觀察分類。研究顯示柃木屬木材之主要特徵為:散孔材,具髓斑;導管穿孔板傾斜,階梯狀穿孔,柵板數23條以上;導管內壁具疣狀突起;木質線薄壁組織單列或多列並存,兼具異性I型、II型。其中導管內壁具疣狀突起為本研究首次發現,可做為本屬重要鑑別特徵。文中並提供檢索表和各種之木材組織描述及橫切面、弦切面、徑切面相片等供鑑定參考。 |
| 英文摘要 | This study investigated wood microstructure of 15 native species of Eurya in Taiwan. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) was applied to identify the wood microstructure. The experimental results showed that the general wood anatomical characteristics of the Eurya in Taiwan could be summarized as follows: diffuse porous wood; pith fleck presented; vessel elements with perforation plates and oblique end walls, with more than 23 bars; minute warty protuberances presented on the inner wall of vascular elements ; rays both uniseriate and multiseriate, heterogeneous of types I and II. Among these results, minute warty protuberances on the inner wall of vascular elements was newly discovered and could be served as a critical wood identification feature in Eurya. In this study, we also provided a key to the species of Eurya and cross, tangential and radial section photos for reference. |
