中文摘要 | 本研究以未處理及經甲醇萃取後之孟宗竹(Phyllostachys pubescens)應用物理活化法製備活性碳,並探討活性碳對水溶液中銅離子之吸附效能。結果顯示,未處理及經甲醇萃取後之孟宗竹活性碳其收率分別為24.50及22.17%,比表面積為561.75及889.77 m^2/g。經甲醇萃取後之活性碳其比表面積較未處理者佳,兩種活性碳之等溫吸脫附曲線皆具有Type IVa類型,屬於有較小孔直徑的中孔吸附劑。2種活性碳的表面電位皆在溶液pH值>4時帶負電位,有利於吸附帶正電荷之銅金屬離子。不同pH值下對銅離子溶液吸附結果顯示,銅離子吸附性皆會隨pH值升高而增加,在pH值為6時吸附性最佳。甲醇萃取孟宗竹活性碳對銅離子之吸附量為26.62 mg/g較未處理者活性碳之22.85 mg/g高。經甲醇萃取後之孟宗竹製備活性碳為一廢棄材料之有效利用。 |
英文摘要 | In this study, activated carbon prepared from untreated and methanol extracted moso bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens) by physical activated process and applied on the removal of copper metal from aqueous solution were evaluated. Results showed that the yields were 24.50 and 22.17%, the pH values were 10.3 and 10.6, the specific surface area were 561.75 and 889.77 m^2/g of untreated and methanol extracted moso bamboo activated carbons, respectively. The specific surface area of methanol extracted activated carbon was higher than that of untreated one. According to the adsorption-desorption isotherms, both of the activated carbons belonging to a Type IVa isotherms are given by smaller width mesoporous adsorbents. Zeta potential also demonstrated that the surface of both activated carbons at pH > 4 possessed negative charge. It has ability to adsorb positive charge metal ion. The Cu(Ⅱ) adsorption experiments in different pH aqueous solutions showed that the adsorption amount increased with increasing pH value. The highest adsorption amount was at pH 6. The methanol extracted activated carbon had higher adsorption amount of 26.62 mg/g of copper ion than untreated activated carbon of 22.85 mg/g. The results concluded that it is useful for utilization of the waste methanol extracted moso bamboo for preparing activated carbon. |
