中文摘要 | 鼻腔屬於呼吸道的一部份,其表皮細胞(epithelial cell)持續與外界空氣接觸,是免疫系統的第一道屏障與防禦機制,除了黏膜纖毛的清潔作用以及作為物理性屏障將微生物與其他物質與表皮下組織隔絕外,並透過表皮細胞感應進而誘發後續免疫反應。表皮細胞表面具有相當多不同種類的模式辨認受體(pattern recognition receptors, PRRs),受到刺激後,透過胞內訊息傳遞影響細胞激素(cytokine)與趨化激素(chemokine)的分泌,進而影響先天(innate)免疫反應﹔並透過抗原表現細胞(antigen presenting cell)影響後天(adaptive)免疫反應;或透過類先天免疫淋巴球(innate-like lymphoidcells)產生淋巴壓力監控反應(lymphoid stress surveillance response)。所有與表皮細胞影響免疫系統相關的分子機制,統稱為表皮免疫質體學(epimmunome),透過表皮免疫質體學研究,可進一步了解表皮細胞如何引導免疫反應。 |
英文摘要 | The nasal epithelium is constantly engaged in immunomodulation between the host and the environment. The first line of defense in the nasal epithelium is the mucociliary apparatus, with constant mucociliary clearance of a blanket of mucus containing a variety of antimicrobial. In addition to barrier function, nasal epithelial cells (ECs) have an important role as both mediators and regulators of innate immune responses and adaptive immune responses in the pathogenesis of chronic nasal inflammatory diseases. Epithelial cells monitor the external environment by using pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) to sense potentially dangerous inhaled materials. Epithelial cells express various PRRs, including Toll-like receptors (TLRs), RIG-I-like receptors (RLRs) and NOD-like receptors (NLRs). Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are now increasingly relevant, and recognition by TLRs can directly activate immune cell responses. "Epimmunome" is all the compounds used by epithelial cells to instruct immune cells. To identify the molecules of epimmunome provides better understanding of the pathogenesis of chronic nasal diseases and possible new targets of treatment in the future. |
