| 中文摘要 | 本研究目的探討添加維生素 E(vitamin E, Vit E)對限食情況下離乳仔豬抗氧化和免疫反應之影響。試驗採用 48 頭四週齡三品種( L × Y × D)離乳仔豬(平均體重為 7.49 kg),以隨機完全區集設計( randomized complete block design)分配至添加 Vit E 0(對照組)與 50 IU/kg 二組。每處理 4欄,每欄 6 頭仔豬,以玉米 -大豆粕為基礎飼料,飼料以任食量 90% 餵飼 35 天。分別於試驗第 7、14 及 21 天收集直腸糞便分析乳鐵蛋白及於試驗第 35 天進行抽血分析抗氧化和免疫反應。研究結果發現,飼料添加 Vit E 未能影響離乳仔豬之生長性能,但可以提高試驗結束時豬隻血漿之 trolox 等價抗氧化能力(trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity)和減低丙二醛( malondialdehyde)濃度,竝可以提高紅血球之超氧化物歧化酶( superoxide dismutase)和過氧化氫酶(catalase)活性( P < 0.05)。飼料添加 Vit E 可以提高豬隻血液嗜中性球吞噬細胞陽性率,但也降低嗜中性球呼吸氧爆( respiratory burst)細胞陽性率、血清紅素結合蛋白濃度及溶菌酶活性( P < 0.05);試驗第 7 天糞便之乳鐵蛋白濃度亦可隨添加添加 Vit E 而降低(P < 0.05)。綜合上述結果顯示,飼料額外添加 Vit E 可以提高離乳仔豬抗氧化能力與免疫能力,而且可以降低離乳初期之腸道發炎。 |
| 英文摘要 | The effect of dietary supplementation of vitamin E (Vit E) on immune and antioxidative competence of weaned piglets was investigated in the present study. A total of forty-eight weaned barrows (average body weight at 7.49 kg) were evenly assigned to 0 and 50 IU/kg Vit E in a corn-soybean meal basal diet via randomized complete block design. Four replicates with 6 pigs per replicate in each treatment were conducted for a feeding period of 35 days by feeding the diet of 90% ad libitum. Feces samples were weekly collected after weaning for analysis of lactoferrin concentration to indicate intestinal health for the first 3 weeks, and blood samples were taken at the end of trial for antioxidative and immune responses of measurements. The results showed that Vit E supplementation on growth performance was of little effect, although it significantly decreased fecal lactoferrin content on day 7 postweaning (P < 0.05). The 35 days Vit E treatment enhanced plasma trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity, erythrocyte superoxide dismutase, and catalase activities (P < 0.05), and decreased plasma malondialdehyde (P < 0.05). The Vit E treatment enhanced the phagocytosis positive cells (%) of neutrophil. However, a lower value of respiratory burst positive cells (%) of neutrophil, serum haptoglobin concentration, and lysozyme activity of these pigs (P < 0.05) were observed. The findings clearly suggested that feeding a diet supplemented with Vit E at a level of 50 IU/kg diet was of health benefit to weaned pigs since it could maintain intestinal normality and promote systematic antioxidative and immune competence while on limited feeding. |
