中文摘要 | 國際競爭越來越快速且激烈,為了讓學生具有更多的能力去適應未來社會,外語能力的培養已經成為現階段的趨勢。不過,學校是否有能力強化教師教學、課程設計並與學生建立良好的互動關係,是其提升外語學習成效競爭力的重要關鍵因素。爰此,本研究旨在探討大學生專業英語課程設計、教師教學與學習成效之相關性,同時分析不同背景變項對學習成效、教師教學與課程設計之差異情形,並進一步探討大學生對學習成效、課程設計與教師教學之重要度與滿意度看法。研究結果顯示,不同個人背景變項對於學習成效並無顯著差異存在,但對教師教學與課程設計則有部分呈現顯著差異;此外,學習成效、課程設計與教師教學三者彼此間具有顯著相關性,而大學生於這三個構面也表達其對重要度與滿意度的不同看法。希望透過本研究結果所提供之建議,可以作為加強大學生專業英語教育之參考。 |
英文摘要 | As international competition becomes more rapid and intense, all types of work seem likely to require higher levels of education in the future. In order to develop more abilities of students' future survival and work skills, studying foreign language becomes the trend of today. Whether it is able to improve teaching effectiveness, curriculum design, and build up good relationships with students are the critical elements in enhancing the ESP learning effects and the competitiveness of school. The study therefore investigated the correlation among learning effects, teaching, and curriculum, and the influence on variety of students' background, and also future discussion the students' importance-performance perspective on ESP courses. The result of this study shows that personal background has no influence on undergraduates' ESP learning outcome, but partly significant differences with teaching and curriculum. The results also point out a statistically significant correlation among learning effects, teaching, and curriculum. Besides, the students also indicated the varieties of the perspectives by IPA. Through the result, the author hopes this analysis can provide institutions, schools, English teachers and parents with suggestions for the future undergraduates' ESP education. |
