中文摘要 | 番木瓜在臺灣以網室栽培為主,容易遭受颱風及豪雨等不良環境影響生產,因此需要尋求更具抗風及防雨效果的設施來降低風險。本試驗探討塑膠布溫室栽培與網室栽培對夏植番木瓜於生育、果實品質及產量上之影響。結果顯示於雨季期間溫室栽培植株未受雨害影響,其株高、莖徑、葉數、節數及冠幅等均高於網室植株,始花高度、始花節位及始果節位則低於網室植株,溫室植株較早開花及採收,結果數量顯著高於網室植株,兩者於果實品質上並無明顯差異,但溫室果實貯藏後腐爛率較低。 |
英文摘要 | Papaya production in Taiwan is usually planted in net house easily affected by unpredictable weather conditions such as typhoons and heavy rain. A more wind resistant and rainproof facility is therefore needed. In this study, we evaluated the growth and fruit production from papaya cuttings in summer with in two different facilities, a plastic greenhouse and a net house. Plants in plastic greenhouse grew more vigorously than those in the net house, particularly during rainy season. The plant height, stem and crown diameter, and number of leaves, nodes, and fruit were also greater in plastic greenhouse than in net house. Days to first flower and harvest, the node number of the first flower and fruit ,and the position of the first fruit were significantly fewer in plastic greenhouse, whereas the number of fruit and the yield were greater in the plastic greenhouse. There was no significant difference of the fruit quality in two facilities. However, further investigation of fruit storage indicated that the rate of rotting decay substantially reduced in papaya grown in the plastic greenhouse. |
