中文摘要 | 本試驗目的探討熱季期間 (六至七月份) 於荷蘭泌乳牛飼糧中補充維生素E 與硒對泌乳性能及血液性狀之影響。試驗採用含10 天變積期的完全逢機設計,將24 頭泌乳中後期 (泌乳期198±45 天) 荷蘭乳牛依體重、乳量、胎次與泌乳天數逢機分成兩組,分別為提供基礎日糧之對照組及每天每頭補充500 IU 維生素E 與8 mg 硒之處理組,為期60 天。熱季期間 (六至七月份) 平均溫溼度指數 (Temperature-humidity index, THI) 為82。試驗結果顯示,飼糧中補充維生素E 與硒未影響乾物質採食量、體重、乳產量與泌乳效率 (產乳量/ 乾物質採食量)。牛乳的乳成分也未受到飼糧中補充維生素E 與硒顯著影響。血液性狀部分,飼糧中補充維生素E 與硒有減少血液中磷 (blood phosphorus, P = 0.10) 及麩胺酸丙酮酸轉胺酶 (glutamicpyruvate transaminase, GPT; P = 0.09) 之趨勢,其餘血中葡萄糖、總蛋白質、白蛋白、球蛋白、鈣、麩胺酸草乙酸轉胺酶 (glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, GOT)、鹼性磷酸酶(Alkaline phosphatase) 與乳酸脫氫酵素 (lactate dehydrogenase, LDH) 皆未受到影響。綜上所述,雖然熱季期間飼糧中維生素E 與硒未影響牛隻生產表現,但是有減少血中磷及GPT 之趨勢。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of dietary supplementation of vitamin E and selenium on the lactation performance and blood parameter response of Holstein lactating cows during the hot season (June and July). A complete randomized design with 10 days covariate adjustment was adopted. A total of 24 Holstein lactating cows (average 198 ±45 days in milk) were assigned into two groups according to their body weight, milk yield, parity and days in milk. Cows received diets containing 0 (control) and 500 IU vitamin E and 8 mg Selenium (head/day) for 60 days. The average temperature-humidity index (THI) was 82. The results showed diets with added vitamin E and selenium did not affect dry matter intakes, milk yield, body weight, and milk efficiency (milk/intake). Adding vitamin E and selenium did not significantly affect milk composition. Adding vitamin E and selenium trended to decrease blood phosphate concentration (p = 0.10) and glutamate-pyruvate transaminase (GPT) (p = 0.09), but glucose, total protein, albumin, globulin, calcium concentrations, glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, alkaline phosphatase, and lactate dehydrogenase enzyme activities in the blood were not significantly affected. In conclusion, adding vitamin E and selenium to the diet of lactating cows did not affect cow performance, but it had a tendency to decrease blood phosphorus and GPT during the hot season. |
