中文摘要 | 本研究以轉化學習理論探究澳洲打工度假客之旅遊經驗,首先瞭解其轉化學習歷程,進而探討轉化學習各階段之內涵。研究者針對5位於2004至2013年間赴澳打工度假並於當地停留至少6個月之對象,使用問卷調查法及深度訪談進行資料蒐集,並將所得資料進行編碼及分析,結論如下:一、打工度假旅程中的不確定性及挑戰為轉化學習的觸發點,生活中所接觸的人也是重要的媒介;在旅程中,對於社會價值觀的衝擊、期望與現實的落差皆可能導致個體對既有觀念進行反省、調整;旅途過後,個人價值觀改變的部分主要包括人生規劃、金錢觀、工作專業以及國際視野,其中絕大部分與舊有文化觀念相牴觸。二、打工度假客既有的意義結構深受社會文化的脈絡影響,其行為及價值觀的改變皆歷經觸發期、內省期以及自我整合期,但不同個體的轉化學習過程及觸發點不盡相同。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to investigate the travelling experience of Taiwanese working holidaymakers from the Transformative Learning Theory perspective to understand their learning process in the period. In this study, 5 participants were interviewed about their experience. These participants were all working holiday makers and have stayed in Australia more than 6 months during 2004 to 2013. The conclusions from the study are as followed: 1.Those unexpected accidents or challenges were usually the mainly point to cause the transformative learning process. The conflict between reality and expectation may make people change their viewpoint about the world. 2. The meaning perspectives of Taiwanese working holiday makers influenced by social norm and culture. The changing process of their behavior and value consist "Disorienting Dilemma", "Critical Reflection", and "Integration". Moreover, individuals' transformative processes and turning point were not all the same. |
