英文摘要 | PURPOSE: The aim of this study was to investigate the differences of foot kinematics and kinetics between barefoot and badminton shoes in performing multidirectional lunges. METHODS: Ten male collegiate badminton players were recruited for this study. The foot motion was examined using a 3D motion analysis system. The motion analysis system consists of 10 infrared cameras and an AMTI force plate. The infrared cameras at a frequency of 240 Hz were used for detecting 15 reflective markers and tracking their trajectories to establish an ankle joint model; the AMTI force plate was used to measure ground reaction forces at 2400 Hz. The data of 3 lunges in 3 different directions were collected and analyzed based on the paired t-test statistical analysis and repeated measurement 2-way ANOVA. RWSULTS: It is shown that there were significant differences when performing multidirectional lunges with both barefoot and badminton shoes. This result was found to be significantly higher in the maximum vertical and horizontal loading rates of the heel, and higher in the metatarsal joint angles from dorsiflexion to plantar flexion with barefoot than with badminton shoes (p < .05). On the other hand, from the aspect of kinematics, both barefoot and badminton shoes did not show significant differences in the foot movement patterns of forward steps and right forehand steps. CONCLUSIONS: In badminton, a lunge is considered to be an advanced skill and can be critical for success. This study investigated the dynamic lunge movement patterns of the foot and ankle. The motion of metatarsal joints, in relation to the motion of other segments from dorsiflexion to plantar flexion, was more active barefoot than in badminton shoes. Our study provides solid scientific evidences for the future design of badminton shoes that may prevent injuries and enhance performance. |
