中文摘要 | 從權利而來的喜樂與益處,從屬於對此權利的知悉與瞭解。台灣民主所稱道的價值與權利之一即是宗教自由。但是宗教教育卻不是學校課程所傳授的,作為一般知識的一部分。其結果是,對宗教的普遍認識低落,除非觀念有所改變,否則當前的政策將無法提升認知的層次。本篇論文除探討現今狀況的起因之外,也思考政策缺失以及可改進之處,提供台灣一條邁向「宗教認知」更普遍整全的道路。 |
英文摘要 | The pleasure and benefits from a right are tributary to the knowledge and understanding one has of it. Religious freedom is one of the abidding values and rights of Taiwanese democracy. However, religious education is not part of the general knowledge fostered by the ratio studiorum. As a result, common literacy in religion is low and unless there is a change of perspective current policies will fall short of raising the standard. Besides investigating the reasons accounting for the present situation, the essay assesses the shortcomings of policies adopted and suggests a path to a healthier religious literacy in Taiwan. |
